Rhinelander is preparing for a festive weekend of Irish-inspired events this March, with both a traditional St. Patrick’s Day parade and a charitable pub crawl supporting safe transportation. The annual Rhinelander St. Patrick’s Day Parade will step off at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, winding through downtown Rhinelander. The community tradition promises to bring residents and visitors together for an afternoon of Irish celebration.
For more information about the parade, contact Jack Winkler at 715-369-3030, or via email at phelans@charter.net.
From now through March 16, local bars are participating in the Rhinelander Pub Crawl, a fundraising event supporting the Safe Ride Home Program. Tickets are available for $5 at Big Daddy’s and other participating Rhinelander bars. The pub crawl culminates with a drawing at 1:30 p.m. March 22 at Big Daddy’s, located at 21 W Davenport St. Several $100 prizes will be awarded to ticket holders. Proceeds from the event will help fund safe transportation options for residents, promoting responsible drinking and community safety throughout the year. For details about the pub crawl, contact Aaron Schultz at Big Daddy’s, 715-362-3444, or email phelans@charter.net.
