Rebels win two in scrimmage

The Rhinelander American Legion team was scheduled to host Mosinee in a double header Wednesday evening, but Mosinee came to the diamond with only eight players. The hosts loaned them Joe Schneider for what turned out to be a two-game scrimmage as Mosinee was forced to forfeit the two games to the Rebels. Josh Randolph pitched the first game for a 5-4 win; the second game pitcher for the Rebels was Martin Hoger in a 13-8 win. Photos by Bob Mainhardt.
