The First United Methodist Church’s Personal Essentials Pantry is expanding its efforts to support local families by partnering with Trig’s in Rhinelander to offer a new, convenient way for the community to give back.
According to a press release announcing the initiative, Trig’s has assembled prepackaged “grab-and-go” donation bags filled with essential personal and household hygiene items. Customers can simply purchase a bag during their regular shopping trip and donate it directly to the pantry.
These grab bags provide an easy and impactful way to support individuals and families in need by helping supply critical items such as personal hygiene products, household cleaners, diapers, and other everyday essentials that are often not covered by
traditional assistance programs, the release states.
The program, which is being organized with assistance from this year’s Leadership Oneida County students, will kick off at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 15 at Trig’s in Rhinelander (232 S. Courtney St.)
