Oneida County Medical Examiner announces run for Sheriff

Larry Mathein, current Medical Examiner for Oneida and Forest Counties, has announced his candidacy for Oneida County Sheriff.  The election will take place fall, 2018.

In a press release, Mathein states he has over 40 years of public service in the emergency response field and has "made it his life's mission to serve his neighbors and community."

As Medical Examiner, Mathein also stated, he has been involved int he investigation of hundreds of death scenes, including homicides, has been a team member in multiple criminal cases and has had working relationships with all law enforcement agencies in the region.
