Latoya J. Wolf, Tomahawk, convicted of 2nd degree intentional homicide. Charge was amended from 1st degree, recommended sentence of 25 years WSP (12 initial confinement, 13 extended supervision), pre-sentencing investigation ordered, bail revoked, sentencing hearing Nov. 6.
Peter D.W. Kearney III, Riverdale, IL, charged with three counts of failure to support child (120 days+). Defendant failed to appear in court, warrant authorized.
Friday, July 31
David S. Althoff, Wisconsin Rapids, charged with felony bail jumping. Cash bond set at $3,000, case transferred to Branch I.
Monday, Aug. 3
Zakari R. Barlowski, Rhinelander, charged with retail theft-intentionally conceal. Defendant failed to appear, warrant authorized.
Juwan L. Washington, Rhinelander, charged with theft of movable property. Defendant failed to appear, warrant authorized.
Jacob J. Felser, Tomhawk, charged with disorderly conduct. At a review hearing, case dismissed, defendant completed terms of DPA.
Maria A. Kapellen, Rhinelander, charged with OWI(5th or 6th). Six months jail with Huber privileges, 20 days jail credit, WHS/POP three years, fined $2,152, DL revocation three years, IID 12 months. In another case, charged with delivering illegal artifacts to an inmate. Charge dismissed.
Lloyd T. Apfel, Rhinelander, charged with soliciting a child for prostitution and sex with a child age 16 or older. At a review hearing, charge dismissed, defendant complied with DJA.
Tuesday, Aug. 4
Jessie T. Steinberg, Lac Du Flambeau, charged with strangulation and suffocation, battery, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor bail jumping. Defendant failed to appear, warrant authorized.
Gabrielle D. Weihert, Rhinelander, charged with resisting or obstructing an officer. Fined $379.
