Obituary: Violet Leitel

Violet Leitel, age 76 of Rhinelander, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born May 24, 1941, in Rhinelander to Raymond and Beatrice (Wales) Richards.

Violet is survived by her seven children, Ed (Sarah) Leitel of Plover, Tammy (Mick) Ahles of Harshaw, Moni (Duane) Jarvais of Bear Creek, Jodi (Pat) Hagen of Cameron, Bobbie (Rick) Leitel of Rhinelander, Will (Trudy) Leitel of Arkansas, and Todd (Kerry) Leitel of Las Vegas, Nev.; nine grandchildren; great grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Molzner of Rhinelander; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed Leitel; granddaughter, Nicole; and sister, Barbara Colburn.

Family and friends are invited to join a celebration of Violet’s life Friday, June 8, beginning at 2 p.m. at Hodag Park in Rhinelander. (Carlson Funeral Home)
