Robert “Bob” Dutton, age 86, of Rhinelander, left to be with the Lord on February 3, 2016. Bob was born on March 7, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Gilbert and Ione (Watson) Dutton. Bob was a veteran of the US Navy and served during the Korean War. Bob was a kind man who would hug everyone he met. He had many talents – musician, artist, creative writer. He loved birds and had many feeders to keep the birds (and squirrels) fed. He enjoyed playing cribbage and cards with his friends. He was a devoted family man to his wife Carol of more than 54 years, his children Kathy (Joe), Julie (Bill), and Chris (Judy). He was a special grandpa to Becca, Sarah, Rachel, Emily, David, Ben, Jennifer, Katy, Richard and Kristine. And great grandfather of 9. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his sister and brother-in-law Janet and Richard Deuchar. His humor and genuine love will be missed by his family and friends. Bob is dancing in Heaven, enjoying his new pain free body. Of his many famous sayings, his family’s favorite has always been “Hey…I’ve got a secret…I love you lots!”
