Obituary: Richard Baker

Richard “Bud” Baker, age 75 of Sugar Camp, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at Seasons of Life.  He was born May 27, 1944, in Marenisco, Mich. to Richard and Nellie Baker.  Bud was an avid deer hunter and outdoorsman.

He is survived by his best friend and significant other, Judy Blattler; daughters, Denise (Charles) Coffey of Newton, Ill., Mary Sue Cline of Fairfield, Ill., and Sue Ann Baker of Rhinelander; sons, Kerry (Arletha) Baker of Weston, Ill., Kevin (Noreen) Baker of Newton, Ill., Robert Baker of Weston, Ill.; brother, Lester (Joanne) Baker of Oconto Falls; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Bud was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristen; son, Daniel; sister, Iris; brother, Sonny.

A memorial service was held Monday, Dec. 2, at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River. (Gaffney-Busha)
