Patricia Morey, age 94 of Rhinelander, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at home surrounded by family. Pat was born March 16, 1925, to William and Frances Naylor.
After her husband Chet was sent overseas during WWII, Pat joined the Marine Corps Women’s Reserve. She was stationed in Arlington, Va. and worked at the Pentagon.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Diane Morey of Rhinelander, Linda Morey of Conway, Ark., Mary Jean (Romeo) Ty of Corona, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Susan Morey of Elkins Park, Pa.; her cat, Shadow; sister, Mary Jean Naylor of Paramount, Calif.; brother, William (Judy) Naylor of Wheatland, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chet; son, Gerald; sister, Alice Voeks; two brothers, Richard Naylor and Donald Naylor.
Visitation for Pat will take place 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Catholic funeral liturgy at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, followed by a committal service with military honors at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
