Muriel E. Adams, age 90 of Rhinelander, passed away Dec. 22, 2017, under the care of Ascension Northwoods Home Care Hospice. Muriel was born Sept.27, 1927, in Moose Jaw, Canada, to the late William and Florence (Gaisford) Briggs.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Irma) Briggs, and William (Diane) Adams; daughters, Nancy (Lewis) Nimmons, Carol (Thomas) Clayton, and Vivian (Marvin) Koroleski; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Muriel was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Muriel will be held Jan. 5 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rhinelander at noon, with Bishop David Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will follow at the Forest Home Cemetery. Generations Funeral Home and Crematory of Tomahawk is assisting the family.
