Mary Louise (Simpson) Johnson, age 86, of Rhinelander, died Feb. 17, 2020, while under hospice care. She was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Phelps to Cecil and Rose Simpson.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Rita (Jim) of Buffalo City; daughter-in-law, Carla of Bloomer; sons, Tom (Diane) of Birchwood and Paul (Amy) of Rhinelander; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Rita Reeve, Bill Simpson, Joan Tuula, Sandy Rankinen, Jim Simpson, Dan Simpson, Cheryl Zastrow and Steve Simpson; many nieces and nephews, and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; son, John; and sisters, Charlotte Connor and Karen Libby.
A visitation in honor of Mary’s life will be held at Carlson's Funeral Home 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Feb. 22. (Carlson Funeral Home)
