Marjorie Pemper, age 64, of Rhinelander, died December 30, 2015, at Ministry St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on June 8, 1951 in Rhinelander to Robert and Shirley (Carlson) Wenzel. Marge attended schools here, graduating from the Rhinelander High School in 1969. Marge held a couple of different jobs during her lifetime. She worked in the kitchen for the Rhinelander K-12 School District for a number of years, Pizza Hut for over 20 years, Trig's Deli and at Milestone Senior Living. She married Andrew Pemper on October 18th, 1969 in Rhinelander and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2013. Marge liked to play Bingo and go the Casino once and awhile. She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds outside her kitchen window. She really liked Elvis but she loved her kids and grandkids and cherished every moment she got to spend with them. Marjorie is survived by her three daughters, Michelle Pemper of Lacrosse, Julie and Jennifer Pemper, both of Rhinelander; her son, Martin Pemper of Rhinelander; five grandchildren; three sisters, Chris (Martin) Gerdes of Harshaw, Tammie Dorion of Rhinelander and Dawn (Mark) Harvey of Ocala, Florida; her brother, Johnny (Jackie )Dorion of Rhinelander; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. A visitation for Marge will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held on a later date this spring at St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
