LeRoy Gordon Bettinger, age 86 of Washington, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at Madigan Army Hospital, Lakewood, Wash. He was born Feb. 20, 1932 in Rhinelander to Earl and Rose (Nutt) Bettinger. LeRoy was an Army veteran of Korea and Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Kyoko; daughter, Janet; sond, Tom (Sue), and Chris (Mary); and four grandchildren.
A funeral service for LeRoy will be held Monday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10 a.m. until just prior to the services, all at the Carlson Funeral Home; Chaplain John Uhlarik will officiate. Interment will follow in the Forest Home Cemetery. (Carlson Funeral Home)
