Obituary: George W. Cloke

George W. Cloke, age 75 of Rhinelander, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Friendly Village Nursing and Rehab. He was born March 16, 1940, in Colby to William and Viola (Kloack) Cloke. George was employed with Drott Manufacturing in Wausau until moving to Texas where he was a draftsman with Kone Elevators in McKinney, Texas. He returned to Wisconsin in 2000. George enjoyed time spent in the outdoors and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his children, Carmen Briet of Salem, Connie Blackwell of Kenosha  and Craig Cloke of Washington; five grandchildren; three sisters, Gloria Mikkelson and Julia (Lee Schulpper) Mikkelson both Rhinelander and Barb (Paul) Janke of Milwaukee; his brother, Gil (Kris) Anderson of Irma.  Per George's request, there will be no formal services. Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414 / www.carlsonfh.com) is assisting the family with arrangements.
