Fran Dorich, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the age of 78. She was born on Sept. 2, 1937, to Fred and Florence (Schlieben) Wise.
Fran was born and raised in Chicago and completed her education there. She married Larry Dorich in 1973. In November of 1973, they moved to Rhinelander where they owned and operated Dorich’s Pine Isle Resort for 22 years.
Fran is survived by her husband, Larry Dorich of Rhinelander; her son, Timothy (Joyce) O’Keefe of Wausau; daughters, Tina (Steve) Kuchera of Genoa City, Julie (Dan) Reiser of Palatine, Ill., and Rita (Jim) Runyard of Lindenhurst, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Becky (Rich) Stewart of Jennings, Fla.; and a brother, Fred (Gretchen) Wise of Palatine, Ill. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
A graveside service for Fran will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 21 at Newbold Memorial Cemetery with Deacon Ron Bosi officiating. Please meet directly at the cemetery. Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414 /www.carlsonfh.com) is assisting with arrangements.
