Donald Otto Schueler, age 98 of Rhinelander, died Thursday, May 30, 2019. He was born May 13, 1921, in Owatonna, Minn., to Otto G. and Hattie C. (Grau) Schueler.
Don served as a cryptographic technician in the Asia-Pacific theater during WWII.
He is survived by his children, Lynn M. Schueler, Donald C. Schueler, Robert A. Schueler, Sarah J. (Jeff) Pokrandt and Stuart J. (Sandra) Schueler; two grandchildren; sister, Marily Schueler Bradley; sister-in-law Elaine (Henschel) Schueler and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, June 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rhinelander. A luncheon will be served. (Carlson Funeral Home)
