William J. “Scooby” Skubal, age 56 of the town of Pine Lake, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Bill was born Nov. 10, 1062 in Rhinelander to Edward and Pearl (Gauthier) Skubal.
He is survived by his mother; his wife, Jackie; children, Jillian Skubal of Wausau, and Jebediah Skubal of Rhinelander; one grandson; nine brothers and sisters, Robert (Donna) Skubal of Tomahawk, Edward (Jill) Skubal of West Salem, Steven G. Skubal of Tomahawk, Jeffrey (Wanda) Skubal of Rhinelander, Greg (Connie) Skubal of Dorchester, James (Laura Skubal of Rhinelander, Sandra Skubal of Rhinelander, Michele (Michael) Hagen of Edgar, and Laura Pospychala of Rhinelander; nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Edward.
Visitation for Bill will take place 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial mass, Saturday, May 25, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Rhinelander. Fr. Mike Tupa will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Nativity of Our Lord Cemetery. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
