OBITUARY: Barbara J. Leitermann

Barbara Josephine Leitermann, age 78 formerly of Rhinelander, died Sept. 15, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born Oct. 8, 1937 in Wausau to Norman and Katherine (Lach) Wolfe.

Barbara is survived by her children, Mark (Susan Schymanski) Leitermann, Linda (Robert) Wendorf and Charles (Patty) Leitermann; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, David  Wolfe and Thomas (Paula) Wolfe; sister, Karin (Robert) Thomas; brother-in-law Wayne (Chris) Leitermann; many nieces and nephews and numerous other family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Layton Leitermann. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Saint Anne Parish, Wausau, with Father Alan Burkhardt officiating. A private interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Marathon.  Family will receive guests for visitation Tuesday at church from 9:30 a.m. until the service.
