The last James Williams Middle School "Educator of the Month" for this school year is being recognized for his excellence and for teaching students both inside and outside of the classroom. Students say they love the way he connects with them to keep them engaged in learning.
The JWMS Parent Advisory Council has announced science teacher, Mark Jacobson as the Educator of the Month for May.
Some of the nominating comments about Mr. Jacobson include, "He is fun, smart, knows what he is doing. He is serious when he needs to be and loves his students;” "Not only does he have high spirits, but you can tell that he loves his job,” and "I nominate this teacher because when he is teaching science, he makes it fun and exciting. He makes me want to learn more and more, every day."
According to a press release from the PAC, this outstanding educator creates a fun and exciting way to engage the students in the world of science.
“The students of JWMS have chosen Mr. Jacobson for this honor. Thank you for keeping the students fascinated in science and for the support you have given.”
