An accident involving a motorcycle and an SUV sent one person to the hospital. According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call came in at 7 this morning reporting the crash on Highway 17 at North Shore Drive in the town of Pelican.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital. The driver of the SUV will be issued a citation for failure to yield while making a left turn. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office, the Rhinelander Police Department, Pelican First Responders and Fire Department as well as Medic 1 all responded to the scene and assisted with the accident.
