HARSHAW – Union Grove Cemetery, at the Veterans Monument, was the site of the annual Veterans Ceremony, this year held Saturday, May 28.
All veterans and military were honored at the ceremony. The Einar H. Ingman Jr. motorcycle honor procession began at the American Legion Post 93 in Tomahawk and proceeded to the cemetery. Speakers included organizer Rick Smith and former Highground executive director John Wieler gave the keynote. Several veterans organizations participated, Tomahawk Area Veterans Honor Guard, Continental Marine Mike Handrick, VFW Post 2687, DAV Chapter 29, AMVETS Post 724, 8th Battery of WI Veterans Light Artillery, and other individuals.
