Local nurse 'best of the best'

A Rhinelander nurse has been recognized as the “best of the best” during the Ascension At Home DAISY Award ceremony Dec. 20.

Ashley Boogren, R.N., was selected based on her “clinical expertise and demonstration of extraordinary compassionate care.”

Nominated for the award by co-workers and patient families, Boogren received a certificate of appreciation, a pin and hand-carved sculpture created by African artist.
