Small, locally owned businesses help give Rhinelander a unique and distinct culture and flare. Businesses like Rocky's Roadhouse strive every day to bring in new customers, to treat them like family and make sure they enjoy their visit.
Rocky's Roadhouse has been in the community for years but the current owner, Tim Musson, purchased the bar and grill in 2004. Over the last two years, the menu has been expanded and is not your average "bar" food. They offer seasonal specialties like breakfast during the summer, ribs and even a shrimp boil.
Quality customer service is top of mind for the staff at Rocky's.
"Living and working in Rhinelander is like being a part of a family," Manager Tammy Ahles said. "I can't tell you how many times visitors tell us just how friendly everyone is in the Northwoods. People have options when it comes to a place to get a great meal and if they have a bad experience in our establishment they won't come back. Each and every day I reiterate with my staff how important a smile, friendly face and great service really is."
Rocky's is a proud member of I Buy Local a program supported by the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. to help bring a focus on how spending dollars locally helps support our community. When you visit locally owned businesses like Rocky's Roadhouse you help keep employees at work and able to provide for their families. Rocky's provides employment for ten local residents. Small businesses are the number one employer in North America and by spending your dollars with these businesses you help to ensure they stay that way.
