Hodag Highlights: Wrestling

The Hodag wrestling team was in Three Lakes Thursday, Jan. 30, as the host team, consisting of a co-op between Laona/Wabeno and Three Lakes, faced the Hodags and Iron Mountain, Mich. The Hodags first wrestled against Iron Mountain, a team with only four wrestlers. The Hodags won two of the four contested matches, getting pins by Gage Anderson and Logan Schwinger, and defeated Iron Mountain 54-12 thanks to the forfeit wins for the Hodags. Against the Three Lakes co-op, the Hodags Logan Schwinger won by technical fall. Reid Schultz and Avrom Barr won with pins. The Hodags lost against the host team 46-29.
