Due to the blizzard last weekend, the Rhinelander High School softball team’s first practice took place Tuesday, March 17 inside the Hodag Dome. Only eight of the almost 30 girls signed up for softball were at the practice due to the school district’s spring break.
The girls who attended practice worked on fielding, pitching and hitting. The first game for the Hodags is Thursday, March 26. The team is also scheduled to compete in the Danny Mac tournament beginning on Friday, March 27.
