The first Danny Mac tournament was held at the Hodag Dome Thursday through Sunday with three eight-team brackets and champions for each bracket.
The Hodags played Thursday night against Boyceville and won 16-1.
The Hodags then played Friday morning against Clintonville who had defeated Goodman-Pembine on Thursday. The Hodags took care of the Truckers, winning 7-4. Addi DeMeyer was the winning pitcher in both of the Hodags first two games.
The wins put the Hodags into the championship game against Marshfield. The Tigers won 10-0, scoring in each inning and only giving up one hit to Abigale Johnson.
Abigale Johnson struck out but the catcher could not handle the pitch and Johnson beat the throw to first. Johnson also had the only Hodag hit in the contest.
Lily Treder opened the game putting the ball in play and getting to first thanks to a Boyceville error. Treder would later score in the inning.

A score was not kept, but DC Everest scored more runs. The Hodags issued too many walks and the Hodags did not hit the ball very well. The Hodags first scheduled games, a double header, are in Wisconsin Rapids on Friday March 31, weather permitting.
