Hodag Highlights: Girls CC runners place first at Nine Mile

RIB MOUNTAIN – The 2024 Hodag Cross Country season has officially kicked off. The team followed up their season opener home meet performance with another dominating showing. Both the boys and girls teams had multiple runners finish in the top 10 Tuesday at Nine Mile Forest in Rib Mountain.   

The girls placed first out of 14 teams. The Hodags were led by Brynn Teter and Macy Meyers, who finished back to back in the top 10.  Kara Monk , Sophie Miljevich and Hayley Schiek rounded out the remaining team scoring positions to secure the team win.   

The boys finished third and also placed two runners in the top 10. Greyson Gremban and Avrom Barr,  scored first for the Hodags.  They were followed by Jackson Weinzatl, Brody Kowieski, and Michael Brunette, who helped clinch the team podium finish.
