Hodag Highlights: Boys basketball

Before the game players and coaches brought toys for the Kindness for Kids Christmas toy drive and deposited them into boxes at center court.

On Friday, Dec. 20, the Rhinelander boys basketball team entertained the Tomahawk Hatchets in a conference game.

The Hodags never trailed in the game, led 48-18 at the half, and only allowed four second half points to win 76-22.

Hodag head coach Derek Lemmens was honored for his 200th career win as former and current players were in attendance. Lemmens' high school coach Rich Fortier was on hand and spoke to the crowd about Lemmens and then presented the coach with a plaque commemorating the accomplishment.
