Saturday the new turf at Mike Webster Stadium saw its first action since being completed Friday evening. The soccer team hosted a four-team invite with Lakeland, Waupaca and Wausau East competing.
The Hodags played Wausau East first and lost on a penalty kick 3-2 with no time left on the clock. Later in the day the boys lost to Waupaca, 4-1. The Hodags resumed play Tuesday with a conference matchup in Eagle River. Photos by Bob Mainhardt.
