STAR JOURNAL REPORT
Rockys Roadhouse and the Rhinelander Military Support Group teamed up again to make sure military members know they are appreciated.
Rockys manager Tammy Leitel (pictured at left) held a meat raffle earlier this month which brought in $868. LeRoy Eades, right, said the money goes toward purchasing socks, t-shirts, snacks and other essentials for the troops.
During the holiday season, Eades and other volunteers with the military support group packed and sent 75 boxes of goods to overseas troops, a military hospital in Germany and to the Fisher House, which supports military members, veterans and their families stateside.
