GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Hodags downed in four by Mosinee

The Rhinelander High School varsity girls volleyball team reached 25 points in two games Tuesday, but ended up losing at the  Jim Miazga Gymnasium in four games to Mosinee, 26-28, 25-22, 19-25, 18-25.

Hope Wissbroecker led the Hodags at the net with 23 kills and four blocks. RHS’s other statistical leaders included Allyson Seefeldt with 39 assists and Stephanie Kuester with 25 digs.

The loss dropped the Hodags to 0-3 in the Great Northern Conference and 11-13 overall. RHS next plays Saturday in the conference tournament at Lakeland Union High School.
