First Iron Mike 5K held at Mike Webster Stadium

The first annual “Iron Mike 5K” was held Saturday at Mike Webster Stadium to raise funds for concussion prevention efforts for the Rhinelander football program. The 5-kilometer race, which began at the stadium before exiting to an all-terrain course and returning, was preceded by football players carrying a 45-pound plate on a 3-kilometer course. All the participants received a T-Shirt with medals also being presented to everyone finishing the race.
