County highway department to hold public involvement meeting on Highway P project June 26

Oneida County will hold a public involvement meeting on Thursday, June 26 at the Town of Pelican Town Hall, located at 4093 County P, Rhinelander, WI 54501. The purpose of the
meeting is to discuss the proposed rehabilitation project along County Road “P” from
Eisenhower Parkway to Faust Lake Road.
Discussion will focus on the roadway rehabilitation, relining the culvert pipes east of WIS 17 along Slaughterhouse Creek, traffic impacts, and the construction schedule of the project. The project construction could begin as early as the summer of 2027.
The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. and will include a short formal presentation. After the presentation, personnel from the consulting firm of Ayres Associates and Oneida County will b
available to discuss the project on an individual basis, to answer any questions, and obtain your
comments regarding the proposed project. All interested persons are invited to attend.
