The School District of Rhinelander, together with Mel's Trading Post, is hosting a ski clinic for the community 9 a.m.-noon Feb. 13. Instructor Craig Dumar from Mel's will teach the basics of cross country skiing to all ages. Parents and children are encouraged to participate together. The classes will be held at the Rhinelander High School trails.
Anyone who does not have their own equipment can visit Mel's Trading Post before Feb. 13 to get fitted. There is no charge for the use of equipment. Participants may bring their own equipment as well.
Pre-registration by Feb. 9 is required; space is limited. Visit the Community section of the School District of Rhinelander website to sign up. The cost is $10 per person. Contact Community Education Coordinator Mike Cheslock with questions.
