Christine Marie Johnson, 63, of Argonne, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday January 8, 2026. Chris was born December 25, 1962, to the late Donald and Rosalie (Hegner) Frederickson in Kaukauna. She married Pete Johnson October 9, 1981. Together they raised their family in the De Pere area until moving to Argonne in 2004. Chris will always be remembered as a self-sacrificing, generous and hospitable wife,
mom and grandma. She was well known as a great cook and baker and always made sure everyone had enough to eat. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening and taking care
of a variety of animals and pets. She also spent much time working alongside Pete in their woodworking business over the years. She appreciated finding interesting and
beautiful rocks and minerals and appreciated the simple but great beauty of the outdoors.
Chris especially enjoyed time with her family, always sharing a positive or encouraging word. She also deeply valued her faith in the Bible’s promises of a happy future and was happy to share that comforting hope with others.
Chris is survived by her husband Pete, children Luke and Andrea Johnson, Cindy and Matt Brazeau, Andy Johnson, Katie and Jeremy Kevilus, Ben Johnson and Bobbi Jo Johnson; grandchildren, Ezra and Ryan Johnson, Kaytlyn, Owen, Ava Ronan, Eliana and Arianna Brazeau, Kurtis and Ethan Kevilus. She is further survived by her brothers Keith and Sandie Frederickson, Jeff and Donna Frederickson, Jim and Chris Frederickson, and stepbrother Dave and Kelly Genslak, along with many nieces and nephews.
Chris was preceded in death by her son Matt, grandson Zachary, her parents Donald and Rosalie, stepmother Carol Frederickson, and triplet sisters Laurie, Linda and
Louanne. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Weber-Hill &Packard Funeral Home of Crandon is assisting the family with
arrangements.
