Chamber plans summer kick off celebration

The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing to wipe away any lingering traces of winter with a summer kick off celebration Friday, May 11 at the Masonic Lodge. The event coincides with National Tourism and Travel week.

To kick things off, the chamber is offering a pig roast, featuring pulled pork, chopped brisket, grilled pineapple slices, potato salad, soda or water and more, for $5 a plate. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Attendees are encouraged but not required to dress in beach attire; there will be music, a place to take a summer-themed selfie, and a 50/50 raffle.
