RHS winter sports season begins

Monday Nov. 11 marked the beginning of the winter sports season for high schools. The Rhinelander girls basketball team began with a practice before and after school. Gymnastics, hockey, Nordic ski and the alpine ski/snowboard teams started after school.

The remaining winter sports seasons began Monday, Nov. 18 at Rhinelander High School. Boys basketball started things off with a morning and afternoon practice. The boys swimming team began Monday afternoon, as did the wrestling team.
