Hodag Highlights: Boys and girls cross country

MARSHFIELD – As the sun was setting over the Marshfield farm fields and Wildwood Zoo Tuesday evening the boys and girls Hodag teams were racing a 5k against 12 other teams.
The girls placed fourth out of 13 teams and the boys team placed fifth.
The girls were led by Brynn Teter and Macy Meyers with both placing in the top 25. Sophie Miljevich, Kara Monk and Hayley Schiek rounded out the five scoring positions for the Hodags; Ella Miljevich and
Gabriel Wanta completed the seven-runner team.
The boys were once again led by Greyson Gremban who recorded another impressive top five finish in a field of 107 runners. Avrom Barr placed in the top 10 and Jackson Weinzatl placed in the top 25. Brody Kowieski and Wyatt Crowell recorded the two remaining scoring positions for the boys. Michael Brunette and Grant Gremban rounded out the team. Wyatt Crowell logged his first varsity team scoring position finish.
The teams will travel to Stevens Point for the SPASH Invite Saturday.
