Time to replace the records!

On Monday the boys and girls swim teams updated the record board with the boys replacing six times in five events.
In the 100 IM Zacha King broke the varsity record in the first heat at the state meet; in the second heat Daniel Gillingham broke that record by .49 seconds. King’s placard lasted on the board as long as his record.
For the girls it was the Abi Winnicki show as she replaced five records; one of which was the pool record in the 500 freestyle. The record had been held by Karen Burton since 1979. The remaining records were all records of her own that she broke last fall.
