Hodag Highlights: Baseball

Hodag baseball traveled to Marathon City to play the Red Raiders Friday. The weather was not the best for either team as it was cold, windy and sleet fell during the game.

The Hodags scored in the first inning as Sam Schneider scored on a James Heck single and Owen Kurtz scored, thanks to a Marathon error. Unfortunately, the Hodags could not score again even though they had runners in scoring position in two innings. The Red Raiders tied the game in the third inning and then scored four more in the fourth inning for the 6-2 advantage and final score.

Dylan Vanderbunt started on the mound in the sleet that fell for parts of the game.
