Oneida County Sheriff’s Office warns public of ‘Armed and dangerous’ person

CASSIAN – The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents in the Cassian area to lock their doors as law enforcement pursues a suspect.

This afternoon Minocqua Police attempted to make contact with a suspicious male when he entered a vehicle and a pursuit began. The OCSO reports that after stealing another vehicle, the person took off on foot into the woods with a gun.
This person is on foot in the Cassian area on South Shore Road near Landing Resort. He is believed to be armed and dangerous. Residents are advised to lock their doors and call 911 if they see anyone suspicious.
The male being sought has been identified as Cody J. Huebner, 32 years old. There is a heavy police presence in this area and people should avoid the area if possible.
