SWIMMING
The Hodag girls swim team won their meet at Tomahawk on Thursday taking first in nine of the 11 events and won 124-36. The Hodags remain undefeated in the conference.

SOCCER
Medford played the Hodags at home in a rematch from the first conference game of the season where the teams tied and Medford won the shootout in Medford. Medford scored early and held a 1-0 lead going into the second half. Medford scored two more times in the second and did not allow a Hodag goal to win the game 0-3. The Hodags next play at Eagle River on Thursday.

FOOTBALL
The Hodags hosted Mosinee Friday night in the annual Homecoming game. Mosinee is tied for first place in the conference and it showed as they defeated Rhinelander 50-8. A bright spot for the Hodags was a James Heck to Kyrle Vanney touchdown pass covering 64 yards early in the fourth quarter. Offensively the Hodags switched offensive lineman Owen Kurtz to the fullback position where he totaled 64 yards receiving and rushing before leaving the game with a separated shoulder injury in the second quarter. The team travels to conference co-leader Medford Friday.
