RHINELANDER – Three local fire departments received donations from Trig’s grocery stores today. The donations total $10,000 and are part of Trig’s “Love it Local” campaign, which gives back to the community through charitable giving.

“Our local fire and rescue teams provide an invaluable service to our community.  We understand that many of those services are dependent on volunteers and donations, so this is one way we can show our support,” said Bob Jaskolski, president and CEO of T.A. Solberg Co., Inc.

The Rhinelander Fire Department received $5,000, which department members said will likely go toward protective equipment or a new ambulance. Pine Lake Fire Department and Pelican Fire and Rescue each received a $2,500 donation from Trig’s. Accepting the check are Rhinelander Fire Department members, from left, Andrea Boos, Scott Rathbun, Rhinelander Trig’s store director Don Theisen, Jonathan Vincent and Ryan Berghammer.
