Rhinelander sex offender to be released to community supervision

RHINELANDER – A sex offender will be released to community supervision in Rhinelander Aug. 23. Timothy S. Henk, 60, will be living at 17 W. Prospect Street. Law enforcement releases this type of information not to “increase fear,” according to a press release from the Rhinelander Police Department, but to inform. The WI Sex Offender Registry and Community Notification Law allows law enforcement to release this information to the community.

Henk was convicted of kidnapping/seize or confine without consent and second degree sexual assault/use of force in January 2001. His victim was a 29-year old female out for a walk along a country road.
Henk will be monitored by the Department of corrections, Probation and Parole Division and local police; and is required to be registered with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry for life. He is listed as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighting approximately 181 pounds, brown hair and hazel eyes.
