Celebrating the class of ’22

RHINELANDER – The weather cooperated Friday evening, allow the Rhinelander High School class of 2022 graduation ceremony to take place outdoors at the Mike Webster Stadium. Congratulations and best wishes to all grads!

The Police and fire departments led a parade of seniors before graduation.
Superintendent Eric Burke and school board members Judy Conlin, Ron Lueneburg, David Holperion, Duane Frey and Merlin Van Buren walk to the stage preceding the seniors.
Abigail Lyon and Mandela Anderson lead the Class of 2022 into Mike Webster Stadium.
Superintendent Eric Burke was the first speaker.
Sage Flory was the senior speaker.
Maria Heck, student council president gave a short speech.
Peter Danh, class president, spoke and was assisted by Student Council president Maria Heck as masters of ceremonies.
Steven Jopek was this year’s faculty speaker.
The valedictorian speech was given by Elijah Evers.
Valedictorian Elijah Evers and salutatorian Annika Johnson with their awards.
Alexx Huff stopped and had a moment with principal Shane Dornfeld.
Anna Wedler’s service dog was dressed for the occasion as Wedler received her diploma.
Mandela Anderson was the first to receive a diploma.
Senior members of the Shodags and the rest of the group performed the National Anthem to begin the ceremonies.
Caleb Shevfeland, Logan Schwinger Robert Schramke, Jacob Schoppe and Joe Schneider move their tassels from the left to the right side of their caps.
Seniors toss their caps at the end of the ceremony.
