ANTIGO – Hodag boys won the track conference title over Lakeland by 18 points. Head coach Aaron Kraemer was named coach of the year and Cole Worrall was voted runner of the year as he placed first in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles and 200 meter dash.

Caleb Olcikas won the 100 meter dash and was part of the 4×100 for the fifth of the five first place events for the Hodag boys.

The girls placed sixth out of the seven teams. Emma Germain’s triple jump of 33-feet-10-inches gave her the title for the second straight year. Others showing well for the girls were Rivers Eagleson, tying for second in the pole vault, and Abby Swanson, third in the shot put. The 4×200 relay placed second and the 4×100 relay was third for the girls.

The team now prepares for regionals that take place on Monday at Wausau West. Photos by Bob Mainhardt.
