William Davis

RHINELANDER – The Rhinelander Police Department is notifying the community that a convicted sex offender will be released from prison to community supervision May 4.

William Davis was convicted and sentenced in 2003 of child enticement, repeated sexual assault of the same child and second degree sexual assault of a child. His target victims have been juvenile males between 10-14 years old.

Davis is 58 years old, 5-foot-7 inches tall, weighs approximately 195 pounds; has gray hair and hazel eyes. He will reside at 17 W. Prospect Street and will be monitored by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole, and Rhinelander police.  He is subject to the conditions of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry as a lifetime registrant and placed on lifetime GPS monitoring.

If anyone observes Davis engaging in concerning behavior including unapproved contact with a minor, they are encouraged to contact local law enforcement, at 715-365-5300 (police) or 715-361-5201 (Oneida County Sheriff’s communication center).
