Star Journal Report

The unofficial election results were in for Oneida County around 11 p.m. Tuesday night. Vote totals are below. Rhinelander has a new mayor. Business owner Kris Hanus beat out former alderman and business owner Steve Sauer, 666-517.

Rhinelander School Board will look no different when it next meets as incumbents Mary Peterson, Judy Conlin and Ron Lueneburg received the most votes.

The Oneida County Board of Supervisors will look quite different following Tuesday’s election. Four women will be among the members, and several newcomers will be seated. District 13, as of Tuesday night, had Collette Sorgel and Brian Slizewski tied at 177 votes. District 10 incumbent Jim Winkler holds a four-vote lead over challenger Petra Pietrzak.
