The Rhinelander girls basketball team hosted the Northland Pines Friday night. In the previous meeting in Eagle River the Hodags won 79-45. This time, the Hodags’ constant pressure in the first half led to Pines turnovers and easy baskets; Rhinelander held a 40-14 lead at halftime.
Coach Ryan Clark was able to play the reserves in the second half as the Hodags went on to win 67-24.
Leading the way for the Hodags’ scoring were Ava Lamers and Brynn Brzycki with 13 each and Audrey Schiek with 10. BOB MAINHARDT PHOTOS.
