James H. Preisler, age 87 of Rhinelander, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021. He was born Feb. 5, 1934, in Milwaukee to Henry and Carletta Preisler. After high school Jim enlisted in the Army and served in Austria and Germany.

He is survived by his sister, Pat Fedderly of Rhinelander; brother, Bill (Janice) Preisler of Villa Hills, Ky.; children, Debbie (Julius) Daniels, Jeff (Yongmi) Preisler and Gary Preisler; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Jan. 4 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, followed by a procession to the Northwoods National Cemetery in Harshaw for a committal service and military honors. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
